A world leading agribusiness, Bunge wanted to provide employees a more effective way of communicating with each other as well as eliminate barriers which prevented this widely dispersed, global corporation realize the sum of its parts.

Corporate Voice and Bunge collaborated to develop an exceptional intranet portal which offers information and tools to help users maximize their contributions to the enterprise.

Corporate Voice utilized IBM’s WebSphere Portal System and supporting Interwoven content management system which, when combined, provide an unprecedented amount of functionality and customizability.

For flexibility, Corporate Voice developed customized portlets to provide employees the ability to share information, files, calendars, corporate documentation, localized weather and even discuss specific topics via contextual message boards.

All of this functionality was provided through a visually stunning user interface that was personalized at the division level, giving each space a unique color scheme while maintaining overall layout consistency. Numbers user guides detailed functionality of each of the portlets. An interactive marketing piece incorporating sound and movement was also developed as a tool to provide divisions a feel for the portals functional components and flexibility.

Bunge has not only realized the new intranet portals immediate value but expects to benefit from its investment well into the future as the system has limitless expandability and can evolve as new types of digital information become available.
